The idea of looking into performance yarns within the material helps us achieve the stability and strength we need. Our woven material was developed with Chamatex in France, where they are capable of realizing this goal and enabled the team to weave in Carbon yarns into the upper for support. Another key aspect for creating the perception of lightweight is to use a transparency effect in the quarters, here we used polyester mono yarns to create that window of transparency. Backed with a microfiber cage for support the Ultra 1.3 was featured in Sunglow Red for that Speed consumer and a Matt Black that more toned down athlete.
