This project focused on translating performance innovation into a precise material and finish language. The objective was to visually communicate lightweight construction and engineered speed while maintaining durability under high-impact wear conditions.
Key CMF considerations included:
- - Contrast between matte knit structures and high-gloss graphic applications
- - Chrome-inspired surface references translated into wearable, durable finishes
- - Material zoning to emphasize structural reinforcement areas
- - Weight reduction without compromising abrasion resistance
Close collaboration with development ensured that finishes were scalable, flexible, and resistant to cracking under performance stress.
